Default A few shots of my first bike . . .

I've been wanting to get into the scene for a while now, and I finally picked up my first bike (aside from dirtbikes and whatnot) and I'm pretty excited with it so I thought I would post up a few quick shots and get some input. I found it on Craigslist in Richmond and went down and picked it up about 2 weeks ago. It's a 2000 cbr F4. Pretty much stock expect for the Hotbodies? (I think) undertail kit, ugly chrome front signal covers, and my personal favorite the chrome skull grips and levers (which will be replaced with black levers and black gel grips asap). It only had 5900 miles on it and a good title so I'm pretty pleased with the purchase. I picked up a nice Joe Rocket jacket, gloves and KBC helmet to go with it. I have my learners, just waiting until July (class was booked until then) to take the new rider safety course and get my license. I plan on keeping it fairly stock, aside from the lowering issue I had posted in the forum earlier.

Sometimes you can just show up and get in a lottery for the MSF class going on that day.

I guess mainly the motorcycle scene in general, I wasnt able to get one during college but with that being over I thought what better time, I live between charlottesville and fredericksburg which both areas offer the class but I was stupid and waited forever to register so the earliest I can take it is the weekend of july 18, but I can get some riding in before that since I got my learners and my dad has an 883 Sportster so we take short trips every now and then. As far as gear, I got a KBC helmet with the bike, and bought a Joe Rocket textile jacket as well as Joe Rocket gloves so hopefully I'll be in good shape.

Also, I just picked up a set of Vortex frame sliders, anyone have any gauge on how difficult they are to install? I know there is slight fairing modification, I think only drilling out the holes for the pucks, but any input would be appreciated.

Congrats on your purchase. Ride safe. Just take your time with the frame sliders, nothing to it.
