i got another weird problem. i was riding down 264 on my way home, got around 7000 rpms and it started holding back losing power like it wasnt getting enough fuel or air or spark or something. it never stalled or anything it just wouldnt accelerate anymore, and when it did accelerate it was really slow and sounded horrible.it was really weird. it lasted about 20 minutes but then went away for a while. any of you gurus have any ideas, im lost myself

if it doesn't happen again or doesn't give you any further problems i'd just forget about it... could be some bad gas or a intermitent eletrical hiccup, if it starts doing it again or does anything else post about that and then we'll see

and what he said, if you just washed it or maybe it got rained on or something you could have gotten water in just about anything... my gixxer 750 ran so bad one time after i washed it i thought i jumped timing on my cam chain, turns out there was a 1/4" of water in my ecu connector

 

i dont think so but its been sitting for a while. i havent rode with all the rain and all. hopefully it is just an electrical hiccup. appreciate the feedback

If it's been sitting for a while, it may have been bad gas. Hope she's ok. Glad to see her looking good with the new seat, pipe, and shield.

 

yeah i think it was bad gas. its running fine now. it was only sitting for a week due to the rain but ya never know. nice to hear from you again kalokohan. yeah i put a little on your baby. i got the full d&d, factory jet kit, sportech shield, f4i seat, polished frame sliders (my very first investment ), had it dyno tuned. its a great bike i love it. im gonna miss it when i step up next year. later
