lol technically yes thats all you "need" but i really should wear all my gear all the time. especially since ive hit the ground a few years back and broke my collarbone and got some nice permanent road rash. some people never learn

I just always mess with Richie because most of the time I just wear a nazi helmet shorts and a t shirt. But I wear my boots! I have gear, but I just get to damn hot and uncomfotable.

 

YUP ME TOO. i usually wear my jacket if im taking an extended ride but if im just putsin around i just wear helmet , jeans and a t shirt or light long sleeve shirt.

 

thats what i used to do until i saw a few pictures on the net of some dude that was just runnin up the road to a buddy's house and got his skin removed due to some A hole not paying attention to crossing traffic. Now i wear my jacket, jeans, helmet and boots where ever i go, regaurdless of the weather. I have a heavy leather jacket and to me the discomfort of the heat for the time im riding is much better than no skin. JMHO. Im lookin into a Textile Jacket now. Leather is very warm.

 

Yeah you have a point.most accidents happen within like 5 miles of your home i think. stupid thing is i have a summer jacket already

my accident i almost didn't put on my jacket, it was misriably hot and humid and we were only going 5 minutes up the road... but i knew it doesn't take a 2 hour trip to have an accident so i geared up anyways, i still broke my shoulder but no road rash thank god
