exactly, check out some more of the gap videos floating around and you'll see a ton of stuff like that. Friend of a friend went out there and was keeping a somewhat sane pace and he had people stuffing him in corners and nearly running him off the side. I def want to hit up the gap sometime but am planning on going during the week when there's less people so that kind of stuff doesn't happen to me.

a lot of people go on group rides and/or rides in general and ride like that around here too. Thats why you choose carefully who you ride with

I like how that guy just flew into the ditch and just got up and started riding again like nothing happened.

These toolbags are part of the reason the police are starting to crack down there.
my thoughts exactly

its not a bike vs. car thing so don't make it out to be, everyone has ego's and some let them get out of hand, car or bike... i've seen plenty of guys in cars acting like just as big of jack asses on the blue ridge parkway as i have bike guys, so i'm sure the same thing happens at deals gap, get over yourselves

if you really want to see guys acting like fucktards at the gap on bikes rent a video called "Bit by the Dragon". This group of losers goes and buys like all these brand new ktms, then they go to a parking lot with cones and are like "ok, we have to train for the dragon guys" and just ride around like idiots doing wheelies and stuff. Then they go to the gap and one guy crashes like two turns into it, then the camera man crashes, and in between they are like pulling up to their big rig on the side of the road like "I NEED NEW KNEE SLIDERS, QUICK I NEED NEW KNEE SLIDERS!!!!" and do like a formula one pit stop for fuel and tires and go flying back out like its some timed even and pretend they are some factory race team, god they were fucking idiots and made me embarressed to own a bike.

You're right. I have no doubt that car guys can be just as bad but I've never had the chance to see it from the biker's perspective.

I just got a little heated when I first saw the video.

Exactly. I think cagers that drive the gap look out for bikers because they know its a road riders rip. You can see one of the SUV's they pass gets over all the way to the right to let them by and the cager didn't seem too irrate about it.
