u need to have your 60fts like 1.5's 1.4's..to get a decent number dont miss a shift or shift to early and get as low on the bike as possable with your head under the windshield...it all helps out...i rather replace fork seals then repalce tailsection and other plastics,,haha..i dosent hurt them..i raced all last year and mine are find and dont leak a bit

u shouldnt even need a shinko if your stock wheelbase...if u sit there and heat up a reg bike tire for a long time its going to get greasey...heat it up for a couple secs and thats it....it takes time to learn how to ride the clutch out and for how long to ride it out for.how high rpm to leave, how well your clutch grips..etc

So it sounds like you do not like your 003??? What kinda mileage do you think I might get out of it riding on the street and the strip every once in a while??
Thanks,

2003 GXSR-R 1000 Bike was strapped and lowered 2 inches. Pump gas, leaving at 2000 RPM foot shifting with the clutch. Best out of only 2 runs..... was way to hot out at VMP..... 90 degrees +

its ok i mean it all depends on how you ride. if you do alot of burnouts and stuff of couse it wont last but if you just ride it will last fine, i reccomend the pilot power. that will def. be my next tire.
