I'm strongly resisting the urge to put some sheet metal screws through a tire from the inside. Tire slime over the heads of the screws and then tight-weave some wire mesh around the outside of the tire and go play in the snow.

My friends in Wisconsin and Alaska do snow stud screws, tire slime, and then the outer of a smaller tire glued inside over the heads of the screws. Takes em forever to put them together, but they work well.

As much as I love my motorcycle, I have another hobby I'd like to invest my money into. I was excited to own a bike, but didn't realize how wack this area would be for riding. I will own another later on down the road, but for now I don't need it.
