Cycle whore thread

Re: Cycle whore thread
I had one on my 06 1k, the only thing i liked about it was how smooth the transition was from closed to opened throttle in the lower gears. It was less "jerky" so to speak. But you lose the gear shift indicator, if you have one.

Re: Cycle whore thread
basically it makes the bike think it's in top gear all the time. Alot of the bigger bikes have retarded timing in the lower gears, at low throttle openings. It Eliminates the Timing Retard.

Re: Cycle whore thread
you dont need no stinking gear indicator, if you have time to look at it, then youre riding at a pace where that it doesnt matter and if you dont have time, you shouldnt be looking at that, you should be looking at where youre going.
All its good for is for people that dont know their bike, and bragging rights at the gas station.

I feel ya on the gear indicator though. The only thing I look at is the fuel gauge, and that's usually when I run out.

I assume you're talking about the BP. I don't know why, but for some reason, I've always hated the BP. When I had my bikes I rode them to ride them, not to show them.
