I am up for organizing some kind of cycle meet. This is big in Miami and hundreds of bikers are known to meet up at the Fuddruckers on US1 every thursday night for chatting and socializing.

Virginia Beach has tons of riders and I am pretty sure we could organize something similar and get a chance to meet other riders and possibly riding buddies.

Who all would be interested in such a thing? And if so, would the weekends be better for this type of event or a late evening during a week day?

 

ever been to the meets in HOOTERS??? I think those were in Hollywood tho... Lots of bikes went out there.

 

For informal meet spots, they have BP on 31st at the Beach gets a good number of riders there especially in season. Norfolk has the NSU 7-11, they were doing the Hooters off Battlefield in Chesapeake for a short time last season. Nothing I've seen round here except for organized escorted rides matches what I saw in Miami though.

 

miami IS crazy tho... it pisses me off seeing ppl ridin round wit no helmets tho... cagers here BLOW!!! SIGH... when i come back to live here again im considering getting out of ridin.. that's how bad that shit is mayne!!

i think it would be sweet ive got like 15 people i ride w that wer all lokin for somewere to go but hooters every1 just parks and eats and we only get at most 25 30 bikes there and ive been at bp b4 and after like 30 people show up ther the cops make us leave never been to the 711 but they all got small ass parkin lots to begin with soo idk man but it would definetly be sweet.....the bike meets over in cali are the same way as florida bikes everywer u look on a tue night we just have to find a good place to chill and it will catch on..there is enough riders here
