Default cc question?

Hey i mostly deal in the rest of the forum, but i have always wanted to learn to ride a bike. so i went and got my permit today. i really have one question. i am looking for a bike, and it seems that the lower the cc the cheaper. but what cc does a bike have to be in order to use it to get your liscense at the dmv, since you have to take your own bike there??? Pretty much what cc is required to have for taking the DMV liscense test?? thanks, for helping a new guy.

doesn't matter at all as long as its street legal, but generally the smaller the better, 250-600cc

you can go on a street legal 50cc dirt bike or the biggest cc bike harley makes, as long as it has tags your fine with them

I go to tcc so i heard about their class, and i have been calling the number, with no answer. imma go up there and try to talk to someone directly. that sounds like the best plan, to just take the rider course, and actually learn to ride a bike, and get the liscense at the same time. thanks for the help guys.
