NoRider....seriously....you need to put more into your purchase. 1500-2000 is a good budget for a beginner bike either newer gs500 or ex500 or an older f3/f2

 

haha dude i know it would be better to spend more, but I just keep finding great deals I can't get my hands on. Plus like I said b4 If I have to spend 800 on new shit then I'm where I would have been if I had just spend the 1500+ on the bike in the first place, and I KNOW the parts are new and good. "siriusly"

 

well, i can't say it's not possible to find screaming deals. i mean, i have about $1500 in my 2002 cbr954. just got to be quick i guess.

 

ya, quick is definitely the key, my first bike I called the guy 30min after it had been posted on craigslist, (hella good deal) and he already had 3 appts to look at it, so I met up asap and put a deposit on it 2hrs after he posted it.

Yea keep you eyes open on Craigslist.org, I found my 99' Ninja 500 like a month ago for $1500. But like they said, its warm now so prices are up.

 

That Kawi ZX6R posted above is a good deal, considering the season, and a great beginner. I had alot of fun on mine.
