Call me a n00b. Dirtbike Help
I've been out of the 'scene' or 'game' for about 4 years now.
I have a 2001 Xr400 and I'm interested in selling it but I have no idea on how or where to search for a fair price for the bike.
Any websites or any where I can look to search for a price?
I looked on Cycle Trader and craigs list and google.
I don't want to start a thread and get laughed at for my asking price.

I honestly do not know the amount of hours on the bike.
It was ridden once a month from late 01 to about 04.
All regular maintence was done in those times.
Bike has been sitting for about a year now and I've only recently ridden it.
My brother rode it last and kinda bent the bars.
Other than that, bike fires up after about 3 kicks.
It's really fun to ride but I have school, a "racecar" and other activites with no truck and noone to ride with.
It was ridden once a month from late 01 to about 04.

Hello! Coming from a Car Dealership, Ive learned KBB, Edmond's and Nada are not accurate. They give unreliable expectations. Especially in this kind of economy. So my suggestion is: Check out e-bay (most of the time averages less than what you can get locally), Craigs (a good mix), online resources (like kbb) and kind of combine an average. And for the others, I was thinking of asking somewhere around 2 for the bike. I hate motor builds
