anyone going to t&t at dinwiddle this sat
if i get the new 1000 looks like i might not be taking it to the drag strip, suzuki says the new slipper clutch will burn right up in a single hard launch and they won't warranty it, but maybe thats just bullshit, have to wait and see how expensive the clutch plates are, and if anyone else has problems.. if not we'll just have to line up the 600's
more suzk drag race than i ever seen...i dunno why suzuki would design a clutch like that if alot of guys drag there bikes...i bet over 85% of drag racers have suzks
this bike is more focused on road racing, and most real superbike clutchs only survive one start... but i'd bet they are just covering their asses more than anything, but this style slipper clutch, the amount of slippage is very sensitive to clutch plate thickness so if you do drag race alot and also road race or charge into corners hard on the brakes on the street you'll have to constantly adjust the slipper clutch to keep consistent engine braking... or so they say, we'll see
