Any one in Nova have 30 minutes to spare??
Hey I picked up this bike, and I was hoping some one with some real knowledge in this area could take a quick look at it for me. I'm a little worried about the condition of the bike currently, just a lot of little things like stripped screws, to rear turn signals, no coolant in the reservoir, part of plastic tail piece literally melted. the engine possibly having 135,000 miles on it. I did all the stuff the buyers guide told me too, but I just don't really know what to check for in terms of serious stuff. I live in Clifton Va zip code 20124, and if one of you guys could look at it for a few minutes I would really appreciate it. I know tomorrow is mothers day, but like I said it you got 10 minutes or what ever, or can do it on monday, that be good too. Thanks

its not awful, I just can't decide, and really want another opinion. The bike hasn't been seriously ridden by him for several months so I don't know if the low coolant has done any damage.

Ok, replied to your other post before I saw this one. Can't really help, gotta do mother's day crap, and you are too far out; but good luck.

haha why its fine, I could just use another opinion? When you buy a bike for this cheap you expect certain things to be messed up, the engine is very strong, the frame is straight, the fork seals don't leak its got brand new tires, I like it alot, I just want to make sure when I sign the title its reliable too.

If you wanna make sure the title is straight, check the VIN on the title against the one on the frame. Then both you and the seller head to the DMV and do the transaction right in front of them.
