Default Alpinestars S-MX R boots

Anybody have these boots? I bit the bullet and decided to order them (in all black). I think this is the first gear I've ever been excited about getting here...

not to jack the thread too much, but i didn't really wanna create a new one just for this. but arn't there riding boots that look more like daily shoes instead of a track look? could someone link me to a few of these? thanks.

http://www.alpinestars.com/moto/moto_footwear.html --> that is all their footware.

Look for icon's page too. They had a few decent ones.

the stroke shoe doesn't look bad at all, would that still offer enough snkle support?

I'm more worried about ankle protection than I am support.

I'm sure they'll provide just as much support as any other non riding oriented boot and mid/high top sneaker.
