after hours
started the chopping of another bike. my bartender friend wanted a bike similar to mine, and he's trading me his 1964 impala (!!) to build it. he's supplying the parts, i'm just doing the labor after hours at the shop. figured i'd share the progress. gonna be a cool lil bike when it's all said and done. here's what it looks like about an hour after i rolled it into (in box stock form) the shop tonight.

hey, he said he wanted a bike similar to mine, and he's trading me a running, driving, and surprisingly rust free 64 impala to do it. i'm not arguing. that car is worth WELL more than the cost of my labor to build the bike. it's a nostalgic style. trust me, there's many many differences between the bikes, but the overall style is similar, yes.
and yeah, that comment coming from someone who rides a plastic covered bike that looks like every other plastic covered bike from any distance.
just giving you shit Q. you know i love your bike. just hate the wiring, lol.

By the way Steve, ask your boss if he would take in my kind of bike work. I haven't been riding it, so I figured I can just pay the big bucks to put it in the shop to do the swap.
i can ask. i honestly wanted to do it as cheap as possible for you, but i've been SLAMMED at work. i'm sure he'll let me do it, but i don't know what he'd try and charge you. i'll find out and let you know asap. at least i've done a million tail swaps, so i know i can get it done RIGHT in as short amount of time as possible.
i'll see what i can do though.
