Default 600 F4i sliders

anyone know how they mount,.. they were simple enough on my gsxr,.. but a buddy stopped by real quick to ask me about his f4i... it looks like he may have to dremmel out entire holes for both sides? i cant even see any motor mounts with the plastics on.

or does it actually go in a different area where you dont have to cut?

you gotta cut holes. there's an easier way of getting a good clean, centered hole than with a dremel.

yeah, take out the motor mounting bolt, and put in the slider mounting bolt, but leave it sticking out a lil bit. put a drop of paint on the head of the bolt, and put the fairing back on, making sure the fairing hits the head of the bolt. then take the fairing back off, and you should have a paint mark on the inside of the fairing. that's the center mark for the hole saw. it takes a lil time taking the fairings off and on to get the center mark, but it looks alot cleaner than on oblong dremel cut.

lol... you got me giving away trade secrets now....

Don't forget to tape up the inside of the fairing where the hole is going to be drilled. The tape helps keeps the fairing from cracking.
