Trading the GT in on an '01 F150 and buying another fox body to make stupid fast? What do you guys think? I just came across an opportunity to get the F150 at a ridiculously cheap price and would get enough on trading my Mustang to pay it off and have a little left over to play with. I've been missing having a stupid fast car lately and really miss my old coupe. Just thinking out loud to those of you who know me.

Sounds good to me. Get a GT. Just remember you'll be paying insurance for two vehicles though.

Agree'd, not saying it needs to be an import... but SOMETHING else, since you've seemed to have owned a lot of mustangs.

How about just a different motor. 2.3T, son! Where you going to find another free Merkur, Nic?

Racing a daily driver is no fun. You will have more fun with a project car. Make sure you get a trailer hitch on that truck so you can borrow my trailer.

Aint that the fucking truth.

Nic, DO IT. It's very smart and a great way to start getting back into racing hardcore. Having something you can dedicate to racing is the way to do it. Thats why I'm looking for a daily driver as I speak.

Again, smart decision.
