At work...
Stony Point Fashion Park is expected to open today at 10a, not sure how long they expect to remain open.
I work in private industry, so like many other wage earners, am in the office. Boo.

Insurance? Ya'll gonna get scammed like a blind beggar by creepy clients looking for an excuse to take advantage of the system (and then raise their own rates).

Heartfelt memo that I received from the boss this morning, word for word:
"RRS Inclement Weather Policy
Richmond Restaurant Service maintains the policy of remaining open during bad weather. Employees should make every reasonable effort to get to work, or continue working if already in the office, unless otherwise notified. If we are forced to delay our opening or close, a recorded message will be placed in mailbox 766 (SNO). It is the responsibility of each employee to check this mailbox. If there are questions employees should contact their supervisors. Employees who do not report to work when the office is open, will not be paid for the day, however they must notify their supervisor of their absence before their shift begins. Failure to do so will be followed by disciplinary action on behalf of administration. With supervisor approval, the individual may take the day as a vacation day.
As you are provided an option to remain home during inclement weather, the company will not be responsible for any personal injuries or property damage if you attempt to arrive at work. You should use your best judgment in deciding whether it is reasonable for you to attempt to get to work. Please be safe and have a nice day. Thank You."

hey i might have to work tomorrow..so its really goin to suck, ill have to drive here in the big winds ugh..maybe ill die cool like in twister...the winds will sweep me up and throw me on the ground..that would be awesome

I dont care if work is closed tonight or not - Driving TO work at 10pm aint gonna kill me but I'm NOT driving home half-asleep in this at 2 in the morning.

it was so slack at work today...and scary to drive home...but at least i made it home safe...and i was with my sister so at least i wasn't alone
