hey guys. anyone else go to the track last night? i ran my 99 nbm ss m6(Pacesetter lt headers/Whisper lid/stage 2 Spec C clutch). my boy ran his 00 frc white vette m6 w/ black z06 motorsports (stock). well lets just say i wasnt impressed with myself. i ran best a 13.6@106 (burning the tires off through 2nd). my boy ran a 13.3@107. we ran 5 times and i was consistent with 105mph but couldnt break into the low 13's this time. only excuse i could have is it was my first time running at the track but hey it was still fun. what did you all run?

 

Nice times im sure if you got the car to hook right u would have lower times.

I ran my Z and my friend Chris ran his white turbo Civic. It was hot at first and humid all night and the humidity just got worse as the night went on.

Congrats on popping your cherry My very first run with my cobra at cecil Maryland in Dec 01 was 14.75@102 and with some practice i was running mid 13's.

With alot more practice you will be running 12's easily.

 

yeah i thought i was in the 757 forum at first so that why it was in the eye candy forum. i want to go next weekend to see if i get any better times. i need to get some track tires, instead of the street tires. they hook worth crap on the track.

 

Yeah DR's are much better at hooking up.

last nite sucked, but i did beat some badass sounding mustang last pass, 11.41 to 11.85. i was trapping almost 10mph slower than i was at MIR wed.

 

what do u drive? i had some old purple charger with a huge ass big block keep wanting to run me. he shook my whole car, i didnt even know my car was running when i was beside him.
