You have to get there right when classes let out. If your class starts at say 2pm you better be circling at 1:43. Sure, you'll be early for class but you'll have rockstar parking. I did that for a year until I had a place right by campus.

yeah and it's much easier to find a spot if you have classes later on in the day like around 2-4pm.

Agreed. It was super easy for 7pm classes once you realize everyone on Main St. is just trying to get home and not looking for parking. It's also pretty easy to find parking in front of GRC. For some reason I could always find a spot there.

Hmmm. . .Im gonna have to try these tactics. I would rather be early for classes and get a decent seat, then be late like i normally am.

It was $160 this semester for the West Cary deck. That beats the heck out of paying daily though. $3.50 x 5 x 15 weeks adds up...

I think it kinda pays off, even if it is $160. Think about it, you get two parking tickets over the semester, and you already payed for your decal. I park on Bowe, then a agonizing 8 block hike to class in Temple or Oliver but at least I dont have to worry about running late.

I paid $25 for a parking pass for the year

lol

benefits of living in the fan, got a fan parking permit, I live on the corner of Harrison and Floyd.

guess the city has given out enough tickets, I can park on my block again, first week of school was hell.
