Default turbo guys i need help!

so i have a tune this weekend ( saturday at TXS) and the guy that sold me the utec didnt give me the damn boost controller... and my cobb tuning acessport did not require one. so i am in need to a mbc that someone can spare and let me barrow and then i will most likely buy it... but i am kinda low on cash haha tunes are exspensive. so if anyone has a extra mbc lying around and wants to help me out that would be awesome.

I got a turboxs you can borrow. I'm not using it right now, but I'd probably want it back though.

You don't need it. I assume you mean the ABC, right? It's an "auxillary boost controller". What it does is bleeds off pressure before it reaches the boost control solenoid. That way supposedly the solenoid will see the same amount of pressure although the turbo is making more.

I don't use one, and all the UTEC's I've installed don't use one. Using a MBC will defeat the whole purpose of letting the UTEC control your boost. You need to be able to adjust boost at certain rpm levels and load points in order to set your AFR correctly.

Just go without it. It will work fine. I know the guys at TXS will say you need one, but even they have done it without it. And, if they insist you have one, I'm sure since you'll already be at TurboXS, and they make it, they can supply you with one.

Just don't put a MBC on your car. They work okay on some cars, but not on a WRX.
