The areas were divided like that long before Deep Run was built. My bus ride to Tucker from Short Pump was easily 20-30 minutes depending on traffic...not close by any stretch of the imagination. Plus I had to be there at 7:00 most mornings for Band; I had to be out the door very early. With as many houses as they were putting up out here, we needed one built. We also pulled from Godwin too, not just Tucker.

My Sophomore year is when they split to Deeprun. Speaking of Tucker and diverse cultures, I think at one point Tucker was in the paper for something like that? Or being a gay accepting school. Something corny like that. I LOL'd though because I saw gays and outcasts being picked on almost daily.
