i am thnking of starting a project and just would like to get some peoples in puts. first of all i have a 99 dodge neon sohc. ive thought of port and polishing a 2nd gen head with over sized valves. and for the bottom end geting my block bored 20 over and raise compression to 11.0/1. and one have any other ideas or concerns with the motor that i should be thinking of.

You should do a V8 swap... hell just stick a lambo motor in there. Although, I'm sure you've already contemplated these swaps.

 

Just upgrade the clutch and install a nitrous system with moderate injection levels.

 

anyone catch the "dont wanna go turbo" part, but he wants an evo swap, if im not mistaken those are turbo right?
