same results here with his SRT and honestly I think My Z28's 3500 stall and me breaking a 315/35/17 Nitto Drag radial loose at a 15mph roll sorta scared him....tee hee

 

Why did you sell it? On a good day I can do the same with the same size Nitto's at 80 I need a different set of wheels and tires.

 

Haha, nice jimmy. I got pretty loose grabbing second hard about a month ago against two young guys in an orange SRT4, I think it scared the shit out of them .

 

Believe me it wasn't by choice, I had a set of nasty 5.3 TEA heads, ported LS6 intake and an F13 loaded and ready to go into the car when the shop I was working at closed up suddenly. Had to sell the car and all parts, wheels & tires etc. It sucked but we had to regroup...I'd still like another LS1 car but it would most likely be a Formula or a GTO this go 'round....and I'll just bet you do hurt those Nittos at 80

 

Get the Formula; I'd get a GTO to daily drive, but damn they're heavier than an f-body (!!!!) and don't 60' worth a shit... I've been tossing around around the GTO vs. BMW idea for when the time soon comes to get a new daily. Of course neither one would be new.

Yeah the weight of the Goat and the IRS are a turn off for a knuckle draggin straightliner like me and LS1 F bodies just keep getting cheaper and cheaper. I've always wanted a red or white Formula and those seem fairly easy to find these days. Hard to sayw what I'll do once I completely bore myself with this AOD notchback.....I have extreme wants for a Zinc Yellow 03 Cobra but I guess we'll see what the rest of 07 brings....
