was that the turbo ls civic? If so thats my friend brad's car. 242whp at 8psi...this was with stock injectors and a freaking fmu. The thing was going completely lean after 4500 rpms. Definintly should be putting down more power once we throw a chipped ecu in there and tune it.

 

Yup, thats the one. And yes, he was wicked lean (14.0-14.5) near redline. Not good. He said it was just a baseline to see where he was and I think he got the info he needed, but I hope he wont keep running it like that or he'll be baselining another motor soon.


Thanks to everyone that came out. It was fun and congrats to David and his stupid powerful car that still scares the shit out of me, mostly when it's smoking the tires on the dyno.

yea i think he has learned his lesson. He had another block in there a couple of weeks ago that cracked three sleeves when he boosted to 20psi on that same fuel setup without even having an intercooler hooked up . He told me last night that he won't be getting on it any until its tuned...i hope. This motor has forged internals so hopefully he will take more care of it.

I may want to get with you on that. i have plenty of server space but my connection here is fairly slow so larger videos will be an issue for people who want them with any speed. You have a server co-located somewhere or have / work at a place with a setup?

Yea, I have some internet businesses so I use the servers for that, but there's plenty left over. Its on a 20mbps unmetered connection. Just PM me and ill set you up with ftp.
