He never got hassled about it. He was also not the type to be obnoxious and beat on his ride, attracting unwanted attention. It might have had something to do with it .

the borla is actually kinda quiet compared to other popular subaru exhausts. as long as it looks stock and you're not going WOT, you probably won't get hassled for it.

^you probably did. I'm pretty sure my neighbors hated me. The exhaust seemed a little extra loud when the car was cold. It was my old car by the way. I never had problems with the wrong attention from the exhaust. Probably because it looks so close to the stock exhaust.

I will tell you from owning that car for almost 4 years that the one thing it could benefit from most is some good brakes. Just some good pads and the 06/07 wrx 4pot calipers up front and you're set. I had a full set of 07 wrx brakes on it but I took them off before selling the car.

 

i believe he said he changed the rotors to slotted, and changed the pads and brake lines. I wish i was going to the meet, heading to New Jersey this weekend
