I, and not just because I'm more of a domestic guy, do not find the import races either way entertaining cause 98% of the time it's some douche bag that doesn't know how to drive his car or is completely gonna get demolished, so he asks for 37 car lengths. Get some faster imports up there and I'll be happy. There have been a few, but I don't watch drag racing to watch slow ass cars race. If I wanted to do that I'd just go drive around Hampton Roads.

the only decent import episode's were when they had the full race civic against the rx7 and the hasport CRX against the bug

you guys do know its all fake right? like wwf... two pro bike racers that are known for having fast cars filmed an episode that never got aired as far as i know and they both talked about it in seperate interviews in bike magazines, how they were all hyped up about it and when they got there they realized the one guys massively modded wrx killed the other guys stock other than a supercharger m3 so the producer made him go easy on the gas so they would be right on each other at the finish line, and they are good friends but they made them pretend to argue and stuff and then at the end he had to give him his title, once the cameras were off he got it handed back and still has the car

i watched one episode and it was like jerry springer, i mean its cool if you guys find it entertaining, but to me it was so obviously fake or things hyped up beyond reality that it just made it unwatchable

Street racing is all about negotiating, sandbagging, and egos. That show has all three and each competitor is a bit different in their strategy.

 

Yeah that's right, it hasn't been Marko D's schizzy for awhile now. That 1520RW it made was also using nitrous. Chicago motor group (almost sure that's the name... if not it's VERY close) has been trying to sell it on eBay for awhile but it keeps missing teh reserve. I see it close at like 38-39K and they just keep it.

Marko has the entire LS1 world ready to hang him by his balls right now.

 

I think the show is good for what it is and before we complain too much let's just realize at least we have one decent show on tv that has a "street race" format, is entertaining if not taken too seriously and showcases the cars fairly well. I think adding Nate as a tech director was a great step in making the show better this season. Rich is less annoying this year as his knowledge increases and honestly the cars are better, less thrown together garbage than last year to me. I watch it or DVR it religiously.

that being said that red 99 SS made me miss my old red one miserably .....
