Do you have any recommendations? Engine dyno'd outside of the car at 465 hp, so prob looking for 1-7/8" from the engine to 3" collectors.
If you want mid length its best not to go so big on the primaries, but keep it at 1 5/8-1 3/4 range. Our Mod motors need a little back pressure to keep some torque. Hell most longtubes arent even 1 7/8'sAs for the front end, I hate to break it to you but there is no difference in a 97 cobra front end and a 99 cobra. K members are the same. The motor mounts are the same as well. If it is, you have a custom tubular one you made or you were lied to. Thats why you can get them for a 94-04

Ordered some stuff to help with the exhaust leaks. Will probably need to fire up the plasma cutter to cut some "doughnut" spacers to place under the front springs. Forgot who originally made some, but need to raise up the front end just a bit. Still looking around for a good set of mid-length headers (or non- equal length long tubes) that can be modified from stock rather than paying out the wazoo for custom ones. The equal length long tubes on there now are just too terrible to work with, as Tim O. can speak volumes about.
Good to know about the k-member being the same. It appears my motor mounts are slightly different to get the 99 engine under the lower 97 hood. Can't tell very well from just poking around.
The aftermarket oil pan has been modified quite a bit. Deeper, wider than stock. Bottom end has been redone to fit the headers. Lemmie see if I can find a pic.

I know the 99 cobra hood still has a bulge on top like the 96-98's for the motor clearance.
As for headers Try JBA. Bob used them on his 99 cobra when he had it. very good gains from them. Alot of people have been getting good gains.

Thanks, will check out the JBA headers. Right now, the headers of my headers are too large in diameter, they are sucking oil through. Forgot the technical name for it. Exhaust note is great, working around those things is not.
Any possibility of an extension into january sometime? I got a wideband, I just got a friends car we're turboing and putting megasquirt'n'spark on and we'll need some tuning time. Maybe some special on an hour or something?
Thanks
