That's right, I made a noob thread. I have lurked anon-style off and on since 20076ish.

I am looking to make big things happen in the Fredericksburg Area. Other stuff about me.

I work as a government contractor, can't say which agency in a forum. I am 28, happily married and have two kids. I came back from Afghanistan nearly a year ago which is how I was forcecully (and illegally) placed in F-burg.

I drives a 1999 Honda Civic Si as a daily
I drives a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD as a project ( technically I really don't drive it).
The wife drives a 2007 Hyundai Sonata.

And the Holy Spirit drives me.

Yea, things are pretty cool here in 20076. I levitate, time warp and blow up small planets for fun.

 

I used to live in Herndon, when I contacted them 3 months prior to my homecoming I was told that my job was filled. I searched for a job within the company for 5 months and I kept getting rejected. I applied for EVERY System Administrator job in the states of VA, got rejected or no-call backs from every single one. I had to burn up some of my vacation time with the company. I finally got a job, but it was not as described and the agency "fired" me 2 weeks later. Then my company told me to find a job "outside the company." At which point I contacted the Department of Labor. the DoL sided with me and I got a letter concluding that my company broke the law on 3 accounts. Now we both have lawyers and it's a legal mess.
