I'd definitely let this guy do it. I worked with him for a few years. He's really good at what he does.

 

I dont feel like paying that much to install, if i did, i would just sell the alarm i just bought and goto best buy and pay them to do it.

Soldering is def. the way to go. Thats how I install all our alarms for customers. I could see why it would be illegal to do remote starts on manuals. Some people would probably leave it in gear and then blame you when the car drove through something when they started it with the remote.

 

Illegal but clutch bypass is easy.

We used to remote start our cars and let them race (with enough space of course). They take off pretty fast.
