Need Leakdown test done in Richmond.. will pay
My civic is burning oil and smoking pretty bad. The 3rd cylinder has oil and carbon build up, all the others are dry. Compression is even across the board, so I wanted to get a leakdown test to see if it's the rings or something with the valves. The bottom end of the engine was rebuilt about 1,000 miles ago, I don't know why one ring wouldn't seat and the others would.
Anyways, I'm looking for someone with a leakdown tester to help me perform a leakdown test to try to find the problem. I don't want to pay a shop a ton of money, so I'll offer to pay the person who helps me out $20. Let me know if you can help out. I'm in the Richmond area. Thanks.

the fluid??
Mine is a hose to the plug hole, and 2 guages with an orifice between them and a regulator and air line fitting on the other end, as are all I have seen that are guage type. No fluid.
What do you have?
