Need help with 98 Lincoln Navigator

I am having trouble with my boss's 98 Navigator. All the warning lights flash, gauges go crazy, the radio fades in and out, and the clock lights dim. The car still ran well but when he

turned it off it would not start. The next day it started just fine but was not driven. Does anyone on here have any expertise to offer? Any help would be appreciated.

Check the alternator.

Happening to me also. I put a new battery on about a month ago. Come to think of it, I didn't have any problems with other Lincoln Parts until the old battery died and I put a new one on.
