i have an autometer monster tach and the light behind the display went out a week ago. the shift light still works fine. so i guess the bulb blew. how do i fix it without messing it up?

hehehe as you look near the reset and and clear or if its the cheaper version the shift light adjust you should see a little black head popping out take that out and replace that peanut bulb

twist it counter-clockwise and then pull it out. i'm not sure exactly where you'd get a new bulb at, but it shouldn't be too hard to find. i remember that's the first thing i played with when i had mine... before it got ripped off my dash.


hey, where did you get yours from? did you buy it used with ripped wires??????

the bulb you can find at any autopart store i just had to replace mine
