Wow that this is nice! that sould make the car get up and go pretty well. i cant wait to see it on.

the TH400 is stronger then the TH200-4R out of the box but neither is really strong enough in stock form for what you want to do nor will they have good shift quality. A relatively stock rebuild with a few problematic parts replaced will leave you with a 4 speed o/d instead of a normal 3 speed, better gearing then the 400, significantly lighter, and ofcourse better shifts. if your worried about strength this trans is commonly found behind turbo 3.8's in grand nationals. The same kit that will put the 400 in that car will allow the 200 to go in. only thing that may differ depending on what application the 400 they recomend swaping in from may be the driveshaft length and yoke needed. but thats EASY shit to get straight. it also uses a throttle valve cable instead of a vacuum operated setup for kickdown / line pressure control. this is also good
