Default Mustang gurus..a question

Seen this deal on SVTPerformance from a private seller.
SSR ported to head Intake- $700 shipped
p&p heads- $400 shipped
imrc deletes p&p- $175 shipped

Still trying to get more info from the seller. Kind of leary about buying things like that from people I don't know. If it's a good deal, I might pick up tomorrow, who knows.

Also for sale by the same guy..
complete 97 heads - $350 shipped
imrc deletes p&p- $175 shipped
upper/lower intake- $375 shipped

Don't buy it. Save the cash towards a turbo.

I think he is asking if those prices are a "good deal."

Sorry, but I am not going turbo or blower route. I am staying NA with a nitrous shot, and looking to get some better flow/velocity out of these B heads and all. The Short runner intake will help alot, but these heads dont flow as good as C heads do.

I meant to say was this a decent deal

I'd want some flow #s on the heads. All port jobs are not created equal and he could've dremel'd it for all you know.

Chris, that is why i was leary about the sale as he couldnt provide who did the P&P headwork.

Stock the heads flow 231 intake @ .500" and 146 exhaust @ .500"

IMHO when you buy cheap parts you get cheap parts..

I wouldnt even waste my time, cause when it breaks your just gonna end up replacing it w/ the better stuff any ways.

Yeah if they are mass produced and sold aftermarket parts. These are custom made jobs. Only 1 person makes the SSR intake out there. Infact you send him your intake and he reworks it.

The reason why I didn't buy anything is because he couldn't validate the flow #'s, nor who did the porting on the heads. Again since no one makes B heads for my car, you compare #'s, the person who did the work and the price.

As for the stock parts, you find the best price as thats out there for those parts.
