I do have a 50mm and I love it. I just can't learn how to use the damn thing. Lol! I can never have the aperture on point to where the whole car is in focus and stuff.
For those shots, I used a cheap Canon 75-300mm. Might also be that I need to clean the lens? Lol.

Play with your settings more. Take a lot more shots at different apertures, DOF, yadda yadda. The more shots you take with different settings, the more you learn. You'll figure it out only by taking more pics.

My shit has to many pictures and Devin (one of the best on here)
shot our cars for import tuner and showed me some proofs. Holy shit he is amazing. It inspired me not to take any more pics of the cars because his pictures are just that damn good..lol
