Default Might be moving to Richmond area.

Well come to find out that the girlfriend wants to move down to the Richmond area. She works for Whole foods and they are opening a new store in short pump town center.

Is there any good apartments near there?

And is that area a good area?

There's quite a few apartments in Short Pump. How much are you looking to spend a month? They are quite expensive.

The area is alright. It's "safe" if that's what you're wondering. I think a lot of snobby rich people live in Short Pump lol and it seems like everyone in that area can't drive worth a damn. There's plenty of places to shop and eat at.

I found a few that i might look at. If I can do it i would like to stay at the 700-900 dollar mark. Im theory we together we can spend up to 1100 a month but we rather stay away from those numbers so we can save some cash for our wedding when that time comes.

Yeah there are a few nice apartments here. I know ours is right off Gayton, plus there are a couple off Lauderdale dr. too. My old lady works at the Short Pump Town Center as well.

DO NOT move to Petersburg! It's far as shit from short pump and you have to battle I-95 everyday. IMO move to Chesterfield, or the Fan. Chesterfield is the burbs, but jump on 288 and your in Short pump in 10 - 15 minutes. The fan is city living with all the bars, restaraunt's, shopping, and parks are within walking distance.

So true. I was looking online at homes in the Richmond area while I was still living in Florida, my criteria was to live nearby a dragstrip. So Petersburg was the place I was looking. Then I flew up here to look around and saw what Petersburg looked like. Before seeing the place in person I thought it had to be like any other town, a bad section and plenty of nice sections. Not so much.

I bought a place in Powhatan and make the drive to VMP.
