Reservation fee is $80 per 24' x 24' shelter (all day rental). Each shelter includes between 9 - 12 picnic tables, a grill, and trash disposal. Reservations for parties of 150 or more are subject to $1 extra per person and require approval. Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Once everything is decided on, I'll call and make the reservations and do what needs to be done to get the approval, as the rates are higher if the reservations are made by non-Chesterfield County residents, and it may be difficult for a non-resident to get approval for such a large event.
I personally prefer Rockwood park, as it's a lot nicer park. Ironbridge is probably by far easier to find.

Ironbridge sounds good. Any estimate on the size of the parking lot?
We'd want to look at 200 people (at least, that's what we'll tell them), so about $130 to reserve it?
Also, could you ask if we can get a rain date or what the refund policy is if we need to cancel due to weather?

i don't know that polegreen could easily support 200 cars with all the OTHER traffic it gets from soccer games, skate park, baseball, people crashing R/C planes, etc.
on top of that it only has one shelter and you have to take a gravel road to get there.

Does Ironbridge have speed bumps? Rockwood does, but Patrick found a path around them for the cookout. Something to consider. I should be in town that weekend and should be able to make it (as long as my taxes have been completed by that time).
