Actually, if all else fails I might have a solution. My parents used to run the civic center in my neighborhood, they don't anymore but it goes unused 90% of the year so I can't imagine they would want much for us to use it

Before I tell you all about it and you get excited let me tell you the not so good points, one, its not directly off an interstate, but it is central to them all, probably about 4-5 miles equally from 64 and 295, from 295 it is literally two turns to get to, from 64 its only one turn, so it would be easy. Two, I'd have to go look, but I really can't remember what condition the field is in, it very well might be perfect flat condition, but it also might be pretty bumpy, haven't been out there in a while. Three, the field is lined on one side by homes, if it happens during the day and people are civilized there wouldn't be a problem, but I can't see this being allowed to go on too far past dark and also if people start racing out of the center or being obnoxious the police will be called, this obviously applies to anywhere we have the meet, but being so close to homes i think it would be a little stricter.

Ok so the good parts, when I had a cook out there with like 50 people a few years ago they didn't even charge me since they knew my parents. A paved parking lot that could hold like 15 cars, a gravel lot that could probably hold 40, and then a grass field that could easily hold 200, large picnic shelter with 4 grills, playground, lake, and basically no where for racing or donuts so it would be hard for someone to be a jackass. I'll ask my mom who I need to talk to about it just to see if its even a possibility but I don't see why it would be a problem. I need to go to my parents house today anyways so I'll go take some pictures so you can see the lay out.

Alright talked to my mom, she said they've had events with over 300 people so I don't see our group being a problem. She said when she ran it the rate was about $300 a day, but that included use of the building, which brought up a good point, we would need the building anyways for the bathrooms, we could use it for other stuff if we wanted but we'd definetly need it for the bathrooms. She called the lady that runs it now today and left a message, and asked about rates with and with out the building, and if we could maybe just use the bathrooms in it and not have to rent it if we aren't going to do anything else inside. So hopefully she'll get an answer about cost in a day or two.
