Default Machine shops?

Hey guys I'm looking for a good reputable machine shop that offers good prices around the Richmond area. I got a LT1 that someone fucked up when rebuilding so I need it checked out and fixed. The #8 piston is backwards and motor gets stuck when manually turning it over with the heads off to where you have to muscle it over about 3/4 of the way. It shouldn't be anything too complicated. Can anyone suggest someone? I've tried Ballos but was quoted for $350 best case scenario, to flip a piston or two, and some rods. I got quoted about half that from another reputable machine shop... so more suggestions would be appreciated.

Laurel Automotive is pretty cheap. They are on Mountain road at parham. I think that would be an easy job.

davis machine did alot of work for me on previous engines. good guy... but slow turnaround time. it's a father/son team and they apparently do alot of work for repair shops in that area.

rebco machine did the machining on my block and my cylinder head when i needed it welded. good people. quick service. top quality work

Don't get me started on Ballos....

I've had good dealings with Laurel and Davis is the shop we used to use for our machine work when I worked for Hyundai. Have nothing but good things to say about both.
