Reminds me of old skool Matchbox wheels. Not sure why. Just does. Maybe it's the damn llama song still stuck in my head.

 

I say go for it. I've always loved those wheels. I really wish I could find a set in 4x100 +35 or +38 for my Civic, but they'd have to have the anodized blue lip. Then, it'd be straight pimp.

If you're getting them for a great price, you can't pass it up. They'll look good.

 

Wheels are a very personal preference decision.... something i've learned over the years.. lol

If it's something you've always wanted get them.. if you don't like them once they are on the car you can always sell em.

I have also always had a love affair with SA3R's and thought they looked absolutely awesome on my s13, but a lot of people didn't like em.

 

I actually like them a lot on some cars, but I don't really think that they look quite right on the spyder. Who knows though, it could like a lot better in person.

maybe your biased, because don't most mustang guys hate tri spokes, because of the V6 wheels?

I kinda like them...maybe because the orig. viper wheels were 3 spoke design.

but anyway here is a quick chop....it'll kinda give you an idea.



also are I assume these wheels are lightweight. how much do the weigh?

 

i personally like more than 5 spokes on a rim but those ones, i think they're pretty hot on that car..

I never cared for tri-bars to begin with, but after becoming a "mustang guy" my views have not changed.

 

I can't find a weight for the 16x7s. Here's how I'm breaking it down:

Pros:
- Looks better
- Not Rotas/knockoffs
- Won't get broken into 24 pieces when I hit a pothole
- I like them.
- Taller/wider

Cons:
- I already have wheels... Buying more costs money.
- Heavier (I'm sure, the rotas are just over 12lbs.)
- I don't like the gold centercaps.
- Concerned with the lip dulling into pink.
