Default Looking for a new beater...

Yep, the truck has about had it. I took it the shop anyways, but one or more cylinders are not firing correctly and by the sounds it made, it sounded like something mechanical broke. Anyways, I need a new beater. But I only have about a grand in the bank, so that's about my price range. If it's a bit over, I might be able to still buy it. Anyways, anybody seen or know of anything?

jeep is my dad's, trying to get about 1000 for it... he lives down in yorktown so i would have to bring it up if you're seriously interested.

the bronco is my boss's, it's here in town... off of three chopt near regency. i believe you're looking at less than 1000 for that one, he just wants to get rid of it. beware the fact that it has an EXTREME 80's paint job... ford red and tan but with some weird ass stripe like the SN95 "boss" mustang stripe package. paint's in good shape, but just a little dated.

edit: bronco II, not full size... upoption (but not huge) wheels and tires

The Bronco sounds exactly like my Ranger. How many miles on the Jeep? Would you say its running pretty damn good?
