help im seeking:

1) how many miles can one expect from a honda motor 1.6L 16v?

2) i've priced a head gasket Set to include the valve seals and everyother gasket at 100bux through advanced w/o work discount, the axle's gonna run me like 60bux. does this sound about right for retail prices, or can i look somewhere else?

3) where can i find some missing interior pieces for the car? dinky shit like the mirror adj. knob, rear speaker grills, exterior door trim, etc?

4) what's the bolt pattern? this whole 13" crap is NOT cuttin it for me

5) used 'cai' anybody? the car'smissing the top part to the airbox and is currently filterless... so i might as well upgrade right??

6) hp/tq rating on one of these stock motors?? what do they make, and what will they handle in Stock form?

other than that, i think ima be ok for now.

thanks guys

1) if its maintained good like 200k or more

2) yeah normal im guess i never fixed a stock motor

3)try..woodfins its in 804 there a honda junkyard

4)4 X 100

5) i dont like CAI cause if you suck up water your motor is done, ive seen three of my friends motors blow from CAI..just buy a short ram or the stock arm

6) if its the si hatch then stock rating is 106hp..like 91 at the wheels..i rather just buy a b16 for like 1000-1100 and swap that in..its 134 hp at the wheels and like 106lbs of tq..it would be better and it would only have like 30k on the motor..if you lookin for a motor i can get you one, my boy works for a japanese importer, so they get crates of motors all the time

For the little stuff, you may want to just poke around in a junk car yard with a set of tools on a weekend.
