hypothetical:
the central forum's been kinda dead, so here's an attempt to revive it some...
situation-
you've got a buddy you've known for a few years. you're close, but not THAT close. say you ran track together or played in the band together or something.... you hung out but they're not your BOY or GIRL.
they're now dating somebody and they've been together for a short term (not years or nothing... maybe a few months-a year). your buddy's sig.other is hitting on you, or atleast shows some signs of interest.
your buddy's sig. other isn't bad looking at all. not hot, but as we say 'bangable'.
questions-
1) if you could, and thought you could get away with it, would you do it one time to get it out of your system? and explain...
2) if you said no: would you clue in your buddy, informing him/her that their sig. other is a possible threat to the trust cycle?
3) if given the opportunity, would you fuck a buddy's parent?

2) Do not involve him since it does not (yet) concern him. Ask them to talk more to get them on the same page in their relationship as there is usually a communication mismatch in how each views their current relationship.
