Hey.

I was driving around all damn day yesterday in the Xterra looking for places to do the camping thing in the future and came up with....just about nothing.

All I ask for is a relatively remote area that I can let my bloodhound/lab mix pup run around with a leash, gotta be by the water (what fun is camping without water?) and gotta be abel to build a fire. Is that too much to ask!? Good fishing is a plus, too.

So if you know where I can go, and you can explain it, please do! My four-year old is dying to go camping and my dog LOVES to be in the water chasing fish. My wife and I haven't been fishing in about...forever...so I'm looking forward to doing some outdoors activities. Any suggestions?!

Ok...that sound great...but I REALLY want to know somewhere that I could just get a bug in my ass on a Friday afternoon to go and be there and set up camp by nightfall, you know? Not to mention when the wife/daughter start bitching I can get thier asses home in less than an hour!

I think there is a camp ground out in Spotsy off of RT 1 near Massaponax High School. Never been there so im not to sure

 

how far are you from the mountains?

 

camp in a van... down by the river
