Ever since I installed the nitrous kit on my car back in march, I've been saying the car doesn't feel right. Well, a little bit ago while I was cleaning up the engine compartment, I had the car running so I could spray the degreaser off. Next thing I look up, and woah! The nitrous line going from the solenoid to the plate is grounding out against the distributor cap causing a pretty little spark. Wow! So then, as I was fixing that, I noticed one of the caps on the vacuum line going between the brake booster and carb had fallen off and I had a massive vacuum leak. It must have fallen off a long time ago or maybe I just never remembered to put it on. 2 seconds later, I cap that off and all I can say is WOW! The car feels 100% like a different car now. It idles smoother and pulls harder than ever now...can it hit 113 mph on motor with a stock long block? When we going to the track again?

Good deal Nic. Don't you like it when you find an easy solution to something you never knew.

I just rewired my electric cutout being the male/female plug in connector broke.

luckily it's always the simple things that are the problem, rarely the catastrophic nightmare we imagine it is....nicely done!

I lucked out. At first I thought it was the cutout motor, but just ended up being the wiring.
