Re: First Car
Well seeing as im not a spoiled 16 year old that my parents by me the casual Chevy Cobalt LT, They offered to buy me any car but i said no, i'd rather have the experience of buying my first car and having to deal with the flaws. Whats so wrong with Civics? I personally like them. '95 Civic ex coupe or a Dx. I think i'd much rather get a '93-'99 Teggy, It's a beautiful car.
You're some kid making min. wage and your parents offered to buy you a new or late model car and you said "no thanks, i'd rather have a shitty 15 year old Honda"
Smart man, smart

Re: First Car
Its all in your own taste but if you wanna "face the struggles of buying a first car yourself" buy something that's worth your time and money.
Civics are not the best bang for your buck and definately are not the best looking. Swear to God you can find a better european import for around the price of a teggy or civic...might be an older one with over 100,000 miles on it, but bmw's are known to last past 200,000 without any major problems. Can't say that for the rice burners...

Re: First Car
Well I told them i'd rather do the traditional buying of my first car and fixing it up. Also, i make more than minimum wage and already have 2500$ saved for a car. I think I'm doing fine myself.

Re: First Car
i own 3 hondas, 91 crx project car aka money pit, 95 civic ex and 97 civic ex. I will be selling one of the ex's soon but those 2 civics have been beyond reliable. Just change the oil and air filter when needed and thats all, not even a light bulb in 5-6 years on both of them. But i might drive my car easier then most people. Ohh and brake pads ya i did those too on both cars since having them. I got lucky that the waterpump and timing belt were done on both before me

Re: First Car
Get real.
Get something that runs
Go to school and I don’t mean High School
Graduate with a degree
Get real job
Get real car
You stupid kids don't understand that money isn't X hundred dollars per week. And that when you get a real job, you can actually afford to buy nice cars. Get yourself a Corvette, Boxster, or S2000. Stop wasting your time and life on these junkie econoboxes.
That's all i'm going to say on the matter.

Yes, and I’m sure all the other losers in Civics down at the local Taco Bell will think you’re totally awesome with your built not bought mentality.

In order for me to get to school, whichever school you may mean, let me first get out of highschool, I'd like to get a car that would last me a good 2-3 years then when i get more money and I'm in College i'd like to buy another car. It's not such of a big deal because I'd like to get a Civic or Teggy, Im not the one to modify it and go to Taco and try and show it off, just to drive to school, and work.

If you don't mind, I'd like to see some pics of the one your selling, i'd love to get my hands on the Civic Ex.
