Default Emergency towing needed, can anyone help out?

So I bought an 82 F150 4x4 from a "friend" in Mathews VA. Made it 10 miles and the left front wheel bearing blew up, so it's stranded in Mathews unless I can fix it on the road (last ditch effort). BUT, I need to get it back to Richmond to my garage so that I can get it apart and fix it properely and have all my tools at my disposal.

I need someone that has a trailer, tow truck, flat bed or whatever to haul it back to Richmond tomorrow (Sunday).

I have cash in hand and many things to trade or barter with, name your price. Someone please help me out?

Call any time tonight or tomorrow in the morning, I'm desperate!

Otherwise the Chevy dealer (only shop within 20 miles) is going to fix it for me on Monday and RAPE me. Not much I can do as it's there and I'm here.

I'm begging for help from the Drag / Driven faithful.

Thanks,

Dan.

Maybe you can get it towed back to your friends house and fix it there?

I'm concerned that it may turn out to be more than the bearings - possibly the axle is damaged or the spindle has the inner bearing seazed to it. I'd rather get it home where I can work on it as I have time. Besides, it was supposed to be a good running truck. That much was true untill the bearing got hot and came apart. The wheel still spins but it's pretty loose and makes lots of clunking noise. If it was 10 or 20 miles I'd probably just go do it there, but over an hour away it makes me nervous of not having the right tools or being able to find the right parts. I don't want to end up making 4 or more trips up there, just want it home so I can pull it down and figure out what to do. Worst case it sits on bricks in my back yard for a little bit, no biggie. Right now it's on a dealers lot as it was the first place to pull over when it all went south, can't leave it there forever.

10seclx has PM'd me so hopefully we can work it out for tomorrow and get it back here safely.

But anyone else just in case something happens on his end and he can't make it? Like a backup plan. Don't think I'll need it but life has ways of making things interesting when you least expect it.

Probably 100+ miles. It's 80 from the East end of Richmond to give you an idea. The guy I bought it from lives pretty much on the Chesapeake Bay, you can throw rocks into it from his back yard.

Ok, truck is still in the middle of nowhere. 10seclx can't get ahold of his buddy with the key to his trailer, I'm waiting to hear back from him to see if we can do it Monday or Tuesday evening this week.

I'll go any time tonight, regardless of time. Don't need sleep, need my truck back ASAP! Or tomorrow (Monday night).

Anyone? Cash and prizes available!

Thanks,

Dan.

I have my trailer at my house in Glen Allen, but I'm in Canada and my diesel F350 is in Maryland, otherwise I'd help out.
