What's up Everyone? I was surfin' the net the other day and came across a website that sells something called the e-Ram electric supercharger [ http://www.electricsupercharger.com ]. Anyway, It claims a 5%hp gain. I was wonderin' if anyone knows if these things really work or if they are nothing more than a lil bling-bling-electric-fan.

Drill holes in your car, they allow air to pass thru it instead of around it. It decreases aerodynamic drag and it's like gaining 15WHP!

 

Not nearly the HP gains you get with a huge wing drag = hp

No parasitic drag my ass !! 15,000 watts and no alternator drag ? That was the problem the the E-Ram .... the power gained was lost in the charging system . If you run it on an external battery , you just added more weight ! Plus , you gotta take into account the loss in hp from the blockage of airflow during off boost situations ( and from the sounds of it , 15 sec bursts only ?? wtf ! ) And if you think that thing really put out 20psi , then I got a bridge in London for sale .... interested ?? Both seem like a waste of time . Go with a tried and proven method ( such as adding everclear to your gas tank ! )
