Dyno?
Where is there a dyno (preferably dynojet)in the central Va area, and how much is dyno time? I want to re dyno my Maxima. I dynoed it at the Extreme Nationals on a Mustang dyno and got 170.5 hp and 348.8 ft-lbs of torque. I was told by the people running the dyno that there was a 25% loss for hp, which seemed about right, but could get no explanation about the torque. Their dyno also gave no corresponding engine speed.

BTW, could you explain the reason they give different numbers?

The dynojet is really nothing more than a 2 1/2 ton drum that creates an inertia load on the car. The reason it doesn't work as well as the Mustang dyno is because once you get the drum rolling, it doesn't take as much power to keep it going, in turn, giving you inflated power figures versus the Mustang dyno.
Basically...tune the car on a Mustang dyno and then go dyno on a dynojet so you'll have #'s to show off on the net
